Once the moon and my mother were lovers.

Did you now? Yes, in my mother's tumultuous days.

She was so... explosive.

These celestial beings, knowing no bounds

dancing and an embrace.

How could you describe it?

What is the power of heat and friction?

What happens beyond layers of skin?

Did they even understand difference anymore?

The rising and falling, one single heartbeat.

Did you know two could fall so fast?

My mother, beautiful, took something.

Maybe the moon gave it away.

And then they fell away.

To continuously dance,

but never to touch.
