Let's set the scene

Let's set the scene
The stage dark, lights off, we have emptiness
Are things, though, empty if they have never been filled?
Is there a void of things before things exist? Perhaps not.
Two bodies, all black dancing, dancing.
In emptiness, the young cosmos was dancing.
Did it experience anticipation as all things were booming,
well not yet booming, but dreaming of potential?
Did this not void have dreams?
More bodies enter, leaping, swirling, twirling.
Dancing, dancing, dancing.
Then something. How to describe this?
A match is lit. This tiny light fills the room.
Have you watched a flame?
Have you admired its movement?
It jumps and bends, lures and seduces.
The bodies of cosmos are drawn,
yet also repulsed. We have harmony and tension.
Perhaps this was the cosmos's first act of love.
The flame to the darkness "let me fill you".
The darkness to the flame "let me suspend you".
To me, this is the first great gift, belonging.
Perhaps I belong to the love of others.
Perhaps I belong to the unfolding earth.
Perhaps I belong to animacy itself.
But perhaps my first belonging, is to my first ancestors
is to the darkness and to the flame.
I am filled with the love of the cosmos.
I am suspended by the love of the cosmos.
And I am dancing.
